Counselling Services
Counselling is a space to slow things down.
It’s a place where you don’t have to explain yourself perfectly, hold it together, or know exactly what you want to say. You can arrive as you are — confused, tired, emotional, unsure — and we start there.
My role isn’t to fix you or rush you toward answers. It’s to sit alongside you while you unpack what’s been sitting with you, and to help you make sense of things at a pace that feels manageable.
You might be here because…
Life feels heavy, overwhelming or unsettled
You’re navigating a relationship change or separation
You’re in a period of transition and not quite sure who you are anymore
You’re carrying a lot for other people and feeling stretched thin
You feel stuck, disconnected or emotionally flat
You want space to think, feel and talk things through - without judgement
You don’t need a big problem or a clear goal to come to counselling. Often, people start simply because something doesn’t feel right.
What counselling can offer
Counselling can help you:
Feel more grounded and steady
Make sense of your thoughts and emotions
Understand patterns in relationships or behaviour
Navigate change with more clarity and confidence
Sit with uncertainty without feeling overwhelmed
Find practical ways forward that actually fit your life
This isn’t about quick fixes or ticking boxes. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply and moving forward in a way that feels positive and true to you.
What sessions are like with me
Sessions are conversational, gentle and led by what feels most important to you.
I don’t jump in with advice or solutions. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore what’s underneath what you’re experiencing. When it’s helpful, we look at practical steps or changes - but only when you’re ready.
I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including person-centred, narrative, solution-focused, Acceptance & Committment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Theraoy, but sessions never feel clinical or scripted. They’re shaped around you and what you’re bringing to the space.
